  Excellent service. Friendly staff. Just watch out for the idiots that leave their dogs in hot cars! Really nice that you can take your dog in with you shopping. Smart company.

  After calling a manager, I was hopeful about the situation as he said the GM would most likely take them back under these circumstances. After getting a call back from ED, the GM, he explained the return policy to me, disregarded everything I mentioned about employees telling me I can take them back and left me with no solution.

  If I could give this a lower review than 1 I would. I had the absolute worst experience with Chilliwack Canadian Tire. I shop at Canadian Tire stores numerous times throughout the year and have never had an issue until trying to deal with Chilliwack. Before heading up the Coquihalla Highway we went in to see if we could get some tire chains. The sales rep told us after a 10 minute conversation about how we probably won't use them and would like to bring them back, that we could bring them back no problem.

  After driving from North Vancouver to Abbotsford to pickup the receipt and then to Chilliwack Canadian Tire to bring them back, a lady by the name of Diane in parts told me that she did not care what Tom said as she is his boss and that she won't be taking them back. Diane was one of the worst people I have ever dealt with in any customer service scenario. I am shocked that Canadian Tire would hire that type of staff.

  No questions asked as to why i only need one tire, red flag number one, as at least you should replace tires in two's.

  if i were to rate Canadian tire only on who i had direct contact with i would have rated it a 4 or 5 star, as dealing with Allyn was good, as he was very helpful when asked a question. However, when Allyn's co' worker (Ken) started yelling at Allyn to deal with the line up of customers , after ken spent at least 10 min at the counter not so much as making eye contact with a customer, and i am finally the last customer in line that Allyn is already helping.

  And on top of all that, other staff of the repair department were openly making fun of other customers after they had left and in front of several customers, laughing and, saying well he must have hit something pretty hard to break that tie rod, they don't just break on there own.

  If you want to go somewhere to get your vehicle repaired (maybe) and have the "mechanics" make fun of you behind your back, then, this is the place to go.

  As someone who spends thousands of dollars a year at canadian tire, I would never expect to be treated the way I did. They were horrible in all aspects of customer service. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

  Good selection and service is OK. It used to be difficult to return items to this store. However in the last few years they have been much better. As long as you have the receipt they will take it back.

  We later found out that they don't accept returns on chains and will only do exchanges within 72 hours. We then called a gentleman by the name of Tom who we had explained the while story to. He understood and said he would make an exception and take the un-opened chains back.
